Tell us a little about yourself and your Greek background!

I am a Greek Australian currently living in Melbourne, Australia.  I run my own private studio working as a Personal Trainer trying to help and educate as many people as I can on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.  I lived in Greece for almost 8 years during the age of 18-26 years moving back to Australia early 2013. I am married (no kids) and when I am not training my own clients I am working heavily to grow my brand with a key vision in becoming a trusted leader in the health and fitness industry.

Is your Greek heritage important to you? What makes your proud to call yourself Greek!?

Yes of course I am very proud to be Greek and importantly proud to see so many Greek’s in the world doing great things.  Having a strong Greek heritage is important because it gives me the foundation to help me grow as an individual always wanting to better myself and those around me.  I am very proud to call myself a Greek knowing how much of an impact we have had in politics, philosophy, science and more importantly the huge impact Greece has had on the rest of the world through its own ancient history.

So, you made an amazing life transforming decision, by completely changing your diet and your lifestyle, what motivated you?

At the start of my journey I reached a point in my life where I had to make a change for my own well-being and honestly that was enough of a motivation to get started.

Once I mentally made that change I was completely focused day by day to live a healthy lifestyle and as a result everything around me started to improve as I started to feel beautiful again and comfortable within my own skin. I am now motivated to share not only my journey but more importantly to show everybody the power of living a healthy lifestyle.

What inspired you to share this way of life upon others through social media?  Do you find happiness in helping others?

I knew I couldn’t have been the only person to have felt this way and I knew I needed to spread the message of hope to so many men and women.  There are far too many people living with mental health issues, depression and anxiety and through living a healthy lifestyle you could say I felt like I discovered the cure.  I designed my program via my app to help scale so I could help thousands of men and women as helping people has always been my number one priority. The feeling I get when I read all the feedback and messages from those using my program is amazing and makes everything worth it.

You’ve built a strong base of loyal followers on social media by sharing your life story and your information in healthy living and staying active in the gym. Tell us a little bit about the beginning days of your social presence. Was it difficult building up the fans? To be honest my focus has never been on building up my fans or increasing my social media following as my sole focus has always been to educate people on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. Obviously as I started to share my journey throughout the process it seemed to resonate with so many people and naturally I started to build up a following.  I have always stayed true to myself making sure I am always real giving a true insight into my beginnings, struggles and what worked for me.

You recently launched your App! This must be an amazing milestone for you. Tell us about the App!! This must been an amazing experience to develop!!

Yes, I designed the app with the sole purpose to help as many people as I could discover the power of living a healthy lifestyle. It was 12–18 months in the making as I wanted to make sure it was designed in a way to be simple and easy to follow providing maximum results. Once you download the app and start your fitness journey you can start to personalize your program to suit your needs.  You can select your dietary requirements, program difficulty and select if you would like to workout at home or in the gym.  My program provides each user with the freedom of choice so they can customize and change their program at anytime with a single click. 

Once you personalize your program you will get direct access to your daily workout programs, meals plan, progress tracker and more!  To provide maximum results in only a 35-minute workout each day focuses on specific muscle groups.  i.e. Monday’s we workout “Chest & Back” and on Tuesday’s we focus on our “Legs & Core”. Each person before starting their journey will take their before photo using the app making sure to tag that photo with the week and their weight.  I have always found the best way to track our progress is through photos as that is a visual representation of the progress we make and in turn helps to motivate us further comparing our before photos with our after photos.  The app will give you the ability to share your transformation to help encourage others to also start their fitness journey.

Further to the daily workouts you will also have your own customized meals and recipes for your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks so you can follow and cook from home. The key is to provide each person with a daily structured routine both for their workouts and meals. Each person will have the ability to swap any meal for any particular day to help provide a huge variety of healthy easy to cook meals. It’s important to note each and every meal has been written by my own personal nutritionist and all meals on my app are gluten free.

Support is a huge component of everybody’s fitness journey and that is why I personally check in and monitor the progress of each client on a monthly basis. Inherently just by knowing we have a strong support system both from myself and from other people within our fitness community makes us more determined and focused to succeed.

As we develop and grow I have plans to personally meet all my fans and those who are already part of our community with scheduled boot camps worldwide. New features will be announced as part of the next updates on the app making sure to always keep innovating allowing us all to be connected through a single platform. The ability for us to feel connected with like-minded people on the same journey as us within the same city and country is critical and a key focus for me moving forward.
